On March 27, 2014, students from TRA’s Young Parents Programs across the State joined the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy and representatives from other teen programs to meet with their legislators at the State House in Boston.

They were there to share their personal stories and to explain how teen parent programs, including teen parent shelter, child care, healthy families, the Young Parents Program, and young parent support programs
help them reach their goals, become self-sufficient, and change their lives and those of their children for the better.

It was a rewarding learning experience for all participants and the Massachusetts Senators and Representatives with whom they met.
