Obtaining my High School Equivalency Certificate was a goal that I set for myself 25 years ago. At that time my priority was my family
responsibilities, therefore the dream was put on hold. I worked at D'Angelo's for 15 years as a General Manager. I knew that someday I would have a chance to pursue my education for my own self-satisfaction.

I was laid off from D'Angelo's in 2013 and found myself with time to reflect on my career and life. It was then that I decided to go back to school (at TRA-Brockton) and get my diploma. Also, I took it a step further by taking a Tax Course with H&R Block. I am now a Tax Associate in the Brockton office and I enjoy it immensely. In July 2015, I will be attending Massasoit College to study accounting.
