State Representative Tackey Chan, D. Quincy, joined the Quincy YouthBuild Graduation ceremony to honor ten (10) graduates on Thursday afternoon, November 5, 2015, at the Sons of Italy, 120 Quarry Street, Quincy, MA.
The graduates, ages 18 to 23, included: Keith Condry (22) of Jamaica Plain; Damonte Dancy (22) and Johnell Jacobs (19) of Dorchester; Kevin Dauwer (23) of Holbrook; Jocelyn Flashner (22) and Brian Lally (23) of Boston; Devin Frustaglia (18), Erico Rosa (20), and Anthony Zappi (18) of Quincy; and Cedrick Johnson (20) of Randolph.
Through a partnership with Neighborhood Housing Services of the South Shore, this year’ s class learned building and construction skills by helping to rehab properties several properties throughout the Quincy and Weymouth areas.
Collaborating agency representatives, family and friends were on hand to congratulate the graduates as they celebrated their accomplishments and prepared to move on to their next steps.
