On Wednesday, June 22, 2016, students and staff of TRA-Salem’s evening English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program put aside their studies for the semester and celebrated their successes!

Of their experience in the program, students Kettly and Joel Francois (husband and wife) say, “The day we came here at TRA and met Gail, our Program Director, we knew that was a brilliant move. This is a nice environment where any multi-cultural adult can take English classes with some great, outstanding, patient and reliable teachers! The program identifies so well the needs of a foreigner for a better adaptation and be on his feet in every situation of daily life. Fantastic experience!!!”

The program, funded by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, offers three levels of ESOL for adults ages 18 and over who wish to improve their English speaking and comprehension abilities. The program is available at no cost to students.
