My name is Jánée Williams. I’m 24 and I’m a mother of two. I made a goal to achieve my High School Equivalency Diploma (HiSED) before my second child arrived.

It took some time to find the right program for me. I had a few obstacles in my way and I took a break a few times before I came to the TRA-Brockton Young Parents Program (YYP) in late August 2015.

Thanks to their help and guidance, I accomplished my goal and got my HiSED in March 2016. If it wasn’t for the TRA group, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’m more motivated to do anything. I’m more energetic in the morning. I wake up with a smile and I love it. I would like to thank all the staff and mentors for all the help and encouragement.
