On Thursday, October 27, 2016, Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance hosted a Client Recognition Ceremony at the State House. Five (5) TRA Young Parents Program (YPP) students were among 107 clients who received an acknowledgement from DTA, celebrating their achievements as part of DTA's Employment Service Program.

The five students are: Nicole Atherton and Esther Sanchez from TRA-Holyoke; Lisabeth Natal from TRA-New Bedford; and Akiana Molina and Chelsea Couch from TRA-Worcester. All five young women achieved their High School Equivalency Certificates and successfully completed the YPP program! It was a great celebration! Congratulations to all!
