On Thursday evening, June 9, 2016, the TRA-Worcester Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program honored five students who passed the Massachusetts High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) and received their High School Equivalency Diplomas! The graduates include: Janissia L. Curet, Radetzky Diaz, Luis A. Ruiz, Juan Valentin, and William O. Walker.
Santander Bank and Training Resources of America, Inc. (TRA) have joined forces to enrich educational programming for low-income people throughout Massachusetts.
May 23, 2016 marked the kick-off for the 2016 “Scientists in the Classroom” series, made possible by the Saint-Gobain Corporation / CertainTeed partnership with YouthBuild USA to support its green education and job-training program for low-income youth.

April 27, 2015 was Global YouthBuild Day! Students and staff from Worcester YouthBuild joined hundreds of their peers across the world to collectively raise their voices and spread YouthBuild’s message of love, cooperation, respect, responsibility, and community service.
April 14, 2016: Students and staff from TRA-Quincy and TRA-Worcester YouthBuild programs joined their fellow members of the Massachusetts YouthBuild Coalition for the annual YouthBuild Statehouse Day. Students and staff attended a rally, shared experiences with their peers, and met with their local legislators to educate and advocate for YouthBuild programming!

A Great Big Thanks to Senator Michael D. Brady (D-Brockton) for taking time out of his very busy schedule to meet with students from several programs at TRA-Brockton and for providing a wonderful tour of the State House on March 2nd! And thanks to former TRA student Jean Derenoncourt, Legislative Aide to Senator Brady, for arranging our visit! It was a great experience for all!
