On Tuesday, January 28, 2014, Dr. Katherine White, an OBGYN from Baystate Medical Center, conducted a Sexual Health/ Contraception Workshop with Young Parents Program students from our Holyoke and Springfield offices.
Dr. White first discussed the 10 most common myths on contraception, and then followed with a discussion in which the students were encouraged to ask any questions they might have on sexual health, contraceptives, etc. The students were actively engaged in the discussion and learned a great deal through Dr. White’s presentation.
The workshop was highly informative and successful, and we hope to bring Dr. White back in the near future!
