TRA Programs

TRA's diverse programming includes:

Adult Career Pathways Program (ABE) – is designed to improve reading and math skills and to prepare students to enter training programs, college or the workforce.

ACHIEVE! Youth Opportunity Program - Serves out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 24, assisting with Adult Basic Education/High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) preparation and more.

Adult Basic Education/High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) Prep - Meets the specific educational needs of adult students who have limited basic reading, language and math skills as well as those wishing to pursue a High School Equivalency Diploma (HiSED).

English for Speakers of Other Languages - Assists adult students who have limited English proficiency by meeting their specific educational needs.

FOCUS! Future Pathways for Youth – Provides low-income youth between the ages of 16 and 24 with training/ certification in two career tracks: Construction/ Building Trades and Retail Management.

SNAP Path to Work - provides education, training and work readiness preparation for Able Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWDS) who receive Food Stamps assistance

Trade Adjustment Assistance

Young Parents - Offers pregnant and parenting out-of-school youth, aged 14-24, who have not achieved a high school diploma with a variety of educational and life skills training.

YouthBuild - Provides low-income, out-of-school youth, aged 16-24 with on-the-job, hands on construction skills training and High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) preparation.
